The Idalou Public Library is located next door to the oldCity Hall and is managed by a board of directors also known as the Friends of the Library. The library is funded by grants, city and county funds and donations from the general public.

The Idalou Library’s Summer Reading Club will be from June 11th through July 31st.  This year’s slogan is Fizz, Boom, Read!  It’s all about Science and having fun with it.  Our program will include science experiments and special guests.  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
